“An amazing place for conscious movement that has completely changed how I view exercise and my body. There's something for everyone at every level, and the community is fantastic. I couldn't recommend it more!”

“I've been training at Crazy Monkey for over 5 years and love the community and the practice. The approach is unique, engaging for both body and mind, and accessible to all. It's a great way to improve your body as a system, learn new skills, and build a solid foundation for any activity.”

“Training at Crazy Monkey for over a year has been life-changing. The coaches have world-class knowledge of movement and calisthenics, and the community is incredibly welcoming and motivating. The studio is perfectly equipped for movement training, making it the ideal place to improve skills and connect with like-minded people. I couldn't be happier with my choice to train here!”

“I still remember my first class, feeling totally confused. Unlike other gyms with clear instructions and movement rules, CM was all about exploring. At first, that threw me off, but it quickly sparked a sense of curiosity that just keeps growing. It's incredible to watch people come in thinking they know their limits, only to see those limits vanish in just a week.”

“Each session is still a chance to discover something new — whether it's building strength, improving balance, trying acrobatics, or even surprising myself by climbing walls and swinging on bars. The teachers here are amazing. They don't just guide you, they show such variety of possibilities. Before you know it, you're scribbling your first goals in a notebook, inspired by your newfound love for movement, feeling totally okay if you don't reach them, because after all it is all about the process itself. With their support, I've become both physically and mentally stronger, and I've had so much fun doing it. CM feels like a place where you can show up, train without judgment, and be met at whatever level or age you are. The community here is so inspiring — I've seen people train through injuries, and that level of dedication pushes me to stay committed to my practice too. The initial confusion is still there sometimes, but now I see it as a valuable part of the process. If you're curious and love a good challenge, Crazy Monkey is definitely the place for you! P.S. Every now and then, CM offers extra courses to complement your practice, like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Non-Violent Communication. I've tried both, learnt so many new skills, and deepened my practice even more!”

“If you're in Amsterdam, I highly recommend Crazy Monkey Movement. As a professional dancer, I found it to be an inspiring space that offers engaging tools, games, and valuable insights for practice. It's a unique experience for all ages and backgrounds. Don't miss it!”

“At Crazy Monkey, I've experienced real progress, both physically and mentally, through the process. It's a place for curiosity, experimentation, and connection, and the value of that is immense. It's also where I've built meaningful friendships.”

“I was noticing much more awareness in my body — as if I rediscovered parts of it again. I've become aware of which leg I pick up first when putting my pants on. I've never made connections from the traditional fitness world into my daily life like this.”

“Like when starting anything new, you have to adjust other parts of your life to fit it in. The technical pieces of the program gave me resistance because I think it represented just another ‘program.' That created tension from within, but I heard something clever: ‘When something is difficult, come at it with curiosity' — Thomas. I needed to hear this at exactly the right moment. As a whole body system I am more sensitive to where I am holding tension, how my posture is, and my movement patterns. I was able to connect to the work Michael has taught on letting go of tension while cooking, riding my bike or doing household chores. Floor work is a whole other animal for me — it's like brain training. It is definitely a work in progress and I love the idea that it is never finished. In general, I am viewing movement differently. That's the most exciting piece. I am looking at things in my life like stairs, brushing my teeth, or my children and making them into an opportunity to move differently. Everything is an opportunity. I am grateful for Michael and Thomas who are helping to facilitate my movement journey. Thanks guys.”

“Crazy Monkey is all about (re)connecting. With our body, our mind, each other, the space and objects around us, and the dots you couldn't see before.”
