Welcome to the Crazy Monkey Community.

This isn't about collecting exercises. It's about learning how to work with your body over time.

We're thrilled to have you in this community.

Together, We build a movement practice you carry for life, build on embodiment, dexterity and synergy. Scroll on to learn how to get everything out of this space and build your practice, task by task, post by post.

You're here to develop a Root Practice.

A root practice doesn't give you answers, it gives you better questions about how you move.

The Crazy Monkey Practice is a way of working more than a set of skills. Through the practice you're working on your perception. By completing movement tasks and reflecting upon them, you not only develop yourself physcially and build a large repertoire of movement options, you also sharpen your senses. You're training your ability to tune in, perceive the body more clearly, and adapt to different situations. This is why the CMP is a root practice, a fundamental way of practicing that carries into many areas of life.

Hear from Thomas, the founder of Crazy Monkey, as he shares insights to guide and inspire you.

What to find in this Community space.

Crazy Monkey Practice

A structured practice for building embodied awareness, adaptable movement and effective cooperation. The Crazy Monkey Practice is explored through two parralel tracks: physical practice and supporting theory.

Challenges

Challenges are not about pushing harder, but about noticing what changes when constraints shift.

Time-bound explorations designed to introduce variation, test consistency and surface new movement.

Each week, two different challenges are available — choose your base rhythm, then add curiosity.

  • Foundational Sessions: These sessions are not workouts to complete, but problems to work with. Your base layer for strong, adaptable movement.

Each week, four new sessions (A, B, C, D) are released — each designed to train your body in a balanced, progressive way.
Sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes, combining strength, mobility, coordination, and attention to bodily signals during action.

    You decide your rhythm:

    • Complete at least two sessions per week to support consistent adaptation over time.

    • Add a third or fourth session if you have the time or want to deepen your practice.

Every session is crafted to stand on its own, so whether you do two or all four, you’ll always maintain a solid foundation for continued practice.

  • Thematic Deep Dive: A focused monthly exploration designed to complement your Foundational Sessions.

Each month, we open a new theme — for example Boosting Balance, Elastic Strength, or Creative Chaos.
Over four weeks, you’ll dive deeper into one specific skill or quality, guided by targeted progressions from the Practice library.

Use the Deep Dive as an add-on to your weekly foundation:

    • Keep doing your Foundational Sessions (A–D) as your base rhythm.

    • Add the Thematic Challenge once or twice per week to explore new layers of coordination, control, and perception during movement.

These deep dives bring variety, curiosity, and refinement — helping you see the same body through new movement questions each month.
